Fourth Graders Volunteer at Excelsior Food Pantry

This month, our fourth graders participated in a meaningful service project with the Excelsior Food Pantry, just a few blocks from campus at the San Francisco Center for Jewish Living.

Joined by some of their siblings, students helped distribute fresh produce to over 360 individuals and families in need. With incredible teamwork, care, and efficiency, they unpacked, sorted, and delivered pallets full of vegetables, including celery, onions, carrots, cucumbers, peppers, and fresh herbs.

One of the highlights was distributing over 1,350 pounds of potatoes! This hands-on experience allowed our students to make a tangible impact in their community while practicing empathy, organization, and collaboration. We’re so proud of their effort and heart!
