Eighth-Graders Show Leadership

Eighth-graders are closing out their AVS experience by stepping into leadership roles across the school. At the Middle School, 8th-grade Data Science students presented their research at a community meeting, 8th-grade Life Matters students taught Lower School students about recycling, and on Thursday during our C4 Field Day, 8th graders will be running the field day games for the entire school.
This eighth grade class is showing that they embody the mission of AVS by their creative thinking, innovation and work at creating positive change in the world. They are looking forward to their Landmark trip to Alaska in early June.
