AVS Press Jr. Takes Off!

We’re thrilled to announce the official launch of The AVS Press Jr., our very first student-created newspaper!

This exciting publication is the result of a collaborative effort by students in Bookends, who brought together their creativity, curiosity, and dedication to produce a vibrant snapshot of student life at Alta Vista School. From researching and interviewing to writing and editing, these young journalists explored topics they care deeply about—offering readers a glimpse into what inspires them.

The first edition also includes original student comics, crossword puzzles, and coloring pages, highlighting the many ways our Aviators express themselves through words and art.
