AVS Lower School Talent Show

We're excited to announce that we will be hosting a Talent Show on the last Monday of school, June 10th from 1:30pm to 3:00pm. 

We're on the lookout for musicians, comedians, acrobats, and talents beyond our imagination! Students interested in performing are invited to a "screening" with Ms. Katy and Tina during lunch hour.

As your students prepare for their tryout, please ensure they have thoroughly practiced their talent. Each student is permitted to participate in only ONE act, so they will need to choose between an individual performance or joining a group with friends.

All acts must be under 2 minutes in duration. Additionally, please ensure your child has access to any necessary equipment or props for their performance. We do have most instruments at school and access to a sound system and mic.

Parents and families are invited to the show on June 10th, but not to screenings or rehearsal. Reach out to Tina or Katy B with any questions. 

Screening Dates:
- Grades JK-1: Monday, May 20th, 10:00 AM in the community room
- Grades 2-3: Tuesday, May 21st, 12:30 PM in the community room
- Grades 4-5: Thursday, May 23rd, 12:30 PM in the community room

Preparation:
- Help your performer prepare at home. For group acts, organize practice time during lunch or after-school playdates.
- Acts MUST be under 2 minutes to accommodate as many talents as possible.

Rehearsal:
- We'll have ONE rehearsal during the week of June 3rd to ensure all performers are ready to shine.

Once your performer knows whether they want to take part or not please fill out this Google Form by Tuesday, May 14th so that we can plan accordingly.

We can't wait to see the incredible talents our students have!
