7th Grade Trip to Santa Barbara

The 7th grade trip to El Capitan Canyon in Santa Barbara was a lot of fun. Students hiked in the sun and in the rain, in the morning and at night, and they participated in trail group Olympics, where they had to balance a stick and cross a "river" among other challenges.
The sun came out in time for some sea kayaking, beach clean-up, and games. 7th-graders enjoyed a visit to a farm where they pet and fed some baby goats and llamas. The trip concluded with games, skits, appreciations and s'mores by the fire. Overall we had a wonderful time.
