Where Curiosity Takes Flight

Hello!

Thank you for your interest in Alta Vista!

I’m so glad you’re considering Alta Vista for your child—and for your whole family.  AVS is a school that embraces students, and also truly sees and values families for who they are—on the tired days, the silly days, and the everything-in-between days.

At AVS, learning is rich and meaningful, shaped by a commitment to STEAM, a hands-on, inquiry-based approach, and a community culture that honors identity, fosters empathy, and celebrates curiosity. This is a place where kids are encouraged to ask big questions, to listen closely, to be diligent in their work, to speak with care, and to discover who they are in a supportive and inclusive environment.

As a parent and as a member of the admissions team, I’m continually inspired by the energy, thoughtfulness, and heart that define this school—its mission, its faculty, and the families who make it so special.

We look forward to learning more about your family and guiding you through the journey of getting to know Alta Vista through the admission process.

If you have any questions about the process at any time, please reach out to us.

We look forward to working with you,

Abby Miller Gudich
Director of Enrollment Management
