Middle School After School Supervisor and In-House Substitute Teacher

Opportunity starting immediately. Alta Vista Middle School, an innovative 6 - 8th grade independent school, seeks a full-time in-house Substitute Teacher and After School Supervisor to start immediately. This person will cover classes for teachers when they are out, support the front office manager, and supervise students during various times of the school day and after school.  Responsibilities and Duties:

• Cover classes and follow substitute plans when teachers are out of school.
• Cover the front desk, answer the phone, and the door for the front desk manager during their breaks.
• Assist with dismissal and other school facility projects.
• Supervise students during lunch periods.
• Supervise students who stay after school and help with dismissal from clubs and sports programs.
• Check buildings and close up/alarm building at the end of the day

Hours:

• 9:30am - 5:30pm.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (some college preferred)
• Dependable, responsible, and flexible adult.
• Ability to pass Livescan and Background checks
• Clearance to work in the U.S.

Salary:

• $60,000-$72,000 a year
