Biography

Laura has been working in the Bay Area as an educator for nearly thirty years. She is thrilled to bring her experience and skills to AVS this fall. Laura began her career as an elementary school teacher on the peninsula and has worked as a specialist teacher, private tutor and college counselor. Laura is the mother of twin girls who are entering their senior year of college in two different states. When not working with students, Laura can be found in her garden pulling weeds, collecting leaves and occasionally planting flowers.
