Biography

Quincy joins the Alta Vista School community as Director of Equity and Community. He brings nearly two decades of experience in education as a teacher, school leader, Director of Equity and Inclusion, and educational consultant. Across his work with public, charter, and independent schools, Quincy has focused on creating inclusive environments where students, families, and staff feel seen, valued, and cared for.

In addition to his work at AVS, Quincy partners with Landing Places and the Center for Culturally Responsive Teaching and Learning, supporting schools and educators in developing culturally and linguistically responsive practices. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for Northern California People of Color in Independent Schools. Quincy leads with love, compassion, and humor and looks forward to bringing these values to the AVS community. Originally from Los Angeles, Quincy currently lives in Marin with his wife and three children.
