Biography

Hana comes to AVS with experience teaching and mentoring students at Stanford, where she supported courses in communication, media, and organizational behavior. She has also worked with youth in her church’s Sunday School program in Minnesota, where she enjoyed fostering a caring and creative space for children to learn and grow. With a passion for communication and human-centered design, Hana looks forward to encouraging curiosity, collaboration, and play in AVS' afterschool program. Originally from Ethiopia, she now calls San Francisco home and enjoys hiking, cooking, and discovering new dog parks with her dog!
