Biography

Anna is part of the third generation of her family to grow up in the Portola neighborhood of San Francisco. She has worked with children in several different environments—at the California Academy of Sciences Museum, in after-school care, and at a Montessori preschool. Being able to grow up with and learn from the Bay Area's vast communities has shaped who she is today. Anna also has seven years experience working at an acupuncture clinic. Working her way up to office manager she provided support and care to the providers and clients. After receiving a peer support specialist certificate in 2024 Annareturned to working with children and their families. When working with children Anna has a focus on meeting them where they are at, encouraging their growth and learning in ways that best fit their individual needs, and helping them feel at ease and confident in who they are. In her spare time Anna likes to explore new neighborhoods, hike, cook, share meals with family and friends, and play bocce ball.
