Biography

Morgan is a lifelong band kid with a deep passion for music and a dedication to sharing its transformative power with everyone she meets. She has been playing saxophone since sixth grade and has experienced firsthand how music can shape lives and community. Morgan has been able to travel the US performing and has done many high-profile performances, like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the 2019 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, but having spent most of her life in Atlanta, Georgia, she has loved her life in the Bay Area since she moved in 2023. Her commitment to learning is just as strong as her commitment to teaching- this summer, she will begin her Master’s Degree in Music Education at San Jose State University. 

When she’s not in the classroom, you can find Morgan biking around with her partner Todd, roller skating with the Carquinez Quad Squad, or curled up with a good book and her three rabbits- Riccardo, Bert, and Enzo.
