Rosie, a San Francisco native, brings over a decade of experience in literacy education and instructional leadership. Prior to joining Alta Vista, she served as Assistant Principal of ELA at KIPP San Francisco Bay Academy, where she led a team of educators, developed school-wide professional development, and oversaw campus-wide literacy initiatives.
Throughout her career, Rosie has consistently focused on equity-driven instruction, data-informed practice, and student-centered learning. She has taught a wide range of grade levels and led impactful programs in both middle and elementary schools. Her passion lies in helping all students become confident, joyful readers and writers.
In her free time Rosie enjoys exploring libraries, parks, and the zoo with her 1.5-year-old, or diving into fantasy and mystery novels, and unwinding with British crime dramas.
