Biography

Carol is a lifelong learner who believes that science is for everyone. She often quotes fictional science characters Miss Frizzle: Take chances, make mistakes, get messy! and the Amoeba Sisters: Stay curious! Carol loves learning alongside students, and her classroom experience ranges from first to eighth grade at several Bay Area schools. She also has worked with early career science teachers through the Teacher Institute at the Exploratorium, one of her favorite science museums. When not at school, Carol enjoys reading, spending time with dogs, baking yummy desserts, and tending to her houseplants.
