Biography
Scotty will join the AVS community after teaching 3rd-grade at Wallace Stegner Academy. Scotty graduated from Brigham Young University in 2021 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in English as a Second Language. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming classroom environment that cultivates social-emotional and project based learning, critical thinking, and inquiry-based instruction. In Scotty’s free time she loves reading, running marathons, and teaching science.
