Biography

Gavin is an electronics and networking enthusiast with a special affinity for hardware and security. His interest in technology sprouted from his love of video games – an interest that continues well into adulthood. His playing with electronics turned into a curiosity that drew him to take them apart and put them (mostly) back together to figure out how they functioned. His skills were refined with his involvement in the Mission Economic Development Agency, which aims to provide assistance and education to local underserved communities.

Gavin provides daily tech support assistance to faculty, students, and parents alongside Shana and Cristian. You may also see Gavin's noticeably tall silhouette assisting in morning drop-off and dismissal. You can't miss him, so come say hello! His mind is always on solutions, rather than stalling on the problem; this comes from his eagerness to help and serve the AVS community.
