Biography

Zach is a professional investor and corporate finance specialist focused on real estate, small business, and venture capital. Born and raised near Philadelphia, Zach followed an early interest in music to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and an internship at Island Def Jam in New York. Thinking better of the whole thing he eventually returned home to start a career in asset management and earn an MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.

 In 2017 Zach’s wife Stacie Calad-Thomson had a career opportunity that brought them and their daughter Sloane west to San Francisco, where they were lucky enough to land in Bernal Heights, and eventually at Alta Vista School. The family enjoys skiing, hiking, cooking, baking, eating, music, movies, and the beach. Zach and Stacie hold level 2 sommelier certifications from the wine school of Philadelphia and will be happy to talk your ear off about wine, especially if there’s a bottle open to share.
