Biography

Stephen is an investment professional with over 20 years of experience backing growing technology companies as a research analyst, venture capitalist and public market investor. Since 2013, he has been an entrepreneur as well. A native of Southern California, Stephen moved to the Bay Area to attend UC Berkeley and despite multiple international adventures has always come home to San Francisco for its unique mix of activities, location and people that make it special. 

Supporting community and education at Alta Vista is consistent with Stephen’s work as a youth sports coach and scout leader as well as his prior board experiences at the Bay Area Discovery Museum and CFA Society of San Francisco. His wife, Lynn, is co-founder of Urbansitter and involved as a volunteer at Alta Vista as well. They have three sons, Ben and Will are AVS Class of ‘22 and Jack is AVS Class of ‘27.
