Biography
After teaching JK at AVS for two years, she is transitioning to 1st grade. Whitney has been teaching for over ten years. She has taught in public and private schools throughout the Bay Area. Whitney taught for two years at Saint Vincent De Paul School in San Francisco while completing her credential and Masters's program at the University of San Francisco. She is looking forward to sharing her passion for literacy with the first graders. This pivotal age where the world of literacy is opening new horizons for them to discover and explore.
Whitney is a sixth-generation Bay Area native. She loves exploring the bountiful Bay Area’s rich ecosystem, from paddling on the bay to hiking Mount Tam with her two girls and dog.
