Biography
Danny joined the Alta Vista School community in 2014 and has taught third and fourth grade literacy, humanities, and social studies.. He aligns his teaching philosophy with the principles of growth mindset and passionately encourages his students to think critically, challenge themselves and be confident in who they are. He has supported and mentored youth in a variety of formal and informal learning environments, including Camp Tawonga, Aim High, Nueva Summer Camp, and The Mosaic Project, as well as coached numerous elementary and middle school athletic teams.
Danny loves to spend his free time outdoors riding his bike, gardening, taking photos, snowboarding, and exploring the wild places of Northern California.
