Biography

Jacob enjoys helping students look at the world through different lenses. Through the process of art projects, students are challenged to think and consider their own and differing points of view. The curriculum is developed to be age-appropriate and expose students to ideas, artists and mediums they may have not yet encountered, giving them the opportunity for personal growth and reflection. Jacob has taught a variety of classes at AVS including Portraiture, Drawing, Ceramics, Printmaking, and Scale it Up (Making/Engineering). Additionally Jacob is also the head of our Yearbook Committee.
